# mAIscribe for Remote Desktop setups

## You can use mAIscribe inside your Remote Desktop. See how.

mAIscribe is a webapp that works within Remote Desktops - you just need to make sure you have audio permissions correctly enabled inside your Remote Desktop.

You can either:

- Use mAIscribe locally and copy notes into your EMR on the remote desktop.
- Enable microphone permissions on the remote desktop for direct use.  
    - Check the section "**Detailed video on Windows settings**" at the end of [this article](https://help.maiscribe.com.au/help-center/audio-troubleshooting?hsLang=en)on how to set it up.
