If you're currently using Maia version 1.6.0, you may receive an error when trying to update automatically. Here you'll find out how to fix it.
For users using Maia version 1.6.0, we've identified an error preventing it from updating.
This is due to a bug that prevents Maia from properly closing itself during the update.
You might have seen one of the “Try Again” messages below when this happens:
How to fix it and update successfully:
-
Right-click the Maia icon in your system tray (bottom right corner of your screen near the clock).
-
Select “Exit” to close Maia completely.
-
Go back to the update window and click “Try Again.”
-
The update will now complete and install Maia version 1.8.0.

This version also includes a fix so that future auto-updates will happen without this issue.
