How to use Maia and mAIscribe across mutiple clinics/computers

One subscription, unlimited flexibility. Here’s how to set up and avoid login issues when working across sites

Using mAIscribe in More Than One Location

With a single mAIscribe subscription and login, you can use our full suite - including EMR Sync - across multiple computers or clinics.

Your login credentials are all you need.

Here’s how to set up:

  1. On any computer you work from:

    • Open maiscribe.au and log into your account.

    • Install Maia (our desktop app) if it’s not already installed [full instructions here].

    • If your clinic uses Remote Desktop, also install the RDP Connector.

  2. Log into Maia (and RDP Connector, if needed).

  3. You’re ready to start — your sync and features will work the same way as at your primary location.

Important: Always Sign Out of Maia Before Switching Computers

If Maia stays signed in on another computer, it may continue pulling patient data from that machine, even while you’re working elsewhere.

To prevent this, always sign out (not just exit) before leaving.

How to sign out:

  1. Find the Maia icon in the Windows system tray (bottom right).Screenshot 2025-06-27 at 4.39.39 pm-1

  2. Right-click and choose Sign Out.

  3. If using the RDP Connector, sign out of that too.

Logging out of mAIscribe (online at https://maiscribe.au/) does not sign you out of Maia.

The desktop app must be signed out separately.

Quick Workflow Recap

  • At Computer A (Clinic 1): Sign Out of Maia  and RDP Connector before leaving.

  • If you have colleagues also using mAIscribe, make sure to also sign out in the browser (https://maiscribe.au/)

  • At Computer B (Clinic 2): Log into mAIscribe online + Maia (and RDP Connector if required).

  • Repeat as needed — one login covers all your sites
