What is MBS Helper?

MBS Helper is a revolutionary AI-powered feature within mAIscribe, designed to assist Australian doctors with accurate Medicare billing.

It uses a proprietary algorithm that suggests not only the most relevant, but also the best combination of MBS item numbers after a consultation, helping optimise billing, reduce errors, and ensure compliance.

How Does It Work?

Step 1: Complete your consultation as usual.

Step 2: Choose the type of consultation - so it know which item numbers to use

Step 3: Click to generate a Summary, Letter or Patient Summary and MBS Helper will suggest the relevant MBS item numbers.

Step 4: Review, give it feedback (green ticker/red x), and optimise your billing

Currently this is only available for GPs, but we are evaluating implementing it for Specialists as well.
